WAVETRA ENERGY ACADEMY LAGOS TRAINING CENTRE CONCLUDES 3 WEEKS ADVANCED SOLAR INSTALLATION AND INVERTER REPAIR TRAINING.

Wavetra Energy Academy, Lagos training center has concluded its 3 weeks intensive Advanced class in solar installation and inverter repair, this will mark the 8th training the Academy has conducted in its Lagos facility alone this year and the first advanced training organised by the academy to involve inverter repairs and troubleshooting which are necessary to becoming an experienced technician.

      The administrator of the center Miss Joy Ozolua speaking during the presentation of certificates said “Wavetra as a key stakeholder in the renewable Energy industry, is watching the trends and have observed an escalation in reported cases of inverter related problems, even on our platforms repair.ng we are getting a lot of enquiries hence the need to solve that problem and equip our trainees with necessary skills to solve the needs of the society as they arise” she concluded      

The training covered a wide range of indepth topics on renewable energy, the various types of batteries, load estimation and power calculations, battery technology and types of batteries, various types of inverters, understanding how to differentiate between the various types of charge controllers and their installations, the various types of Pv modules and their specification, various digital marketing skills to expand your business reach as well as increase sales for those going into the business.    Ibrahim One of the trainees who came from Kaduna in the North Central region of Nigeria, said in his own words “being here has been very wonderful, gained a lot especially the business aspect, so I will like to thank Wavetra and the academy, it has been a fruitful 3 weeks and I can’t wait to go back and promote the use of renewable Energy back home in Kaduna” he concluded

That means renewable energy sources can help reduce the amount of greenhouse gas emissions we put into the air. Wind power and solar power are fairly self-explanatory; they use the power of the wind or the sun to generate electricity. This electricity is generally stored in batteries and can be distributed like traditional utility electricity.    

As countries come to terms with the gruesome harm being done to the environment and the ecological imbalance caused as a result of man’s activities in oil exploration, many are seeking new ways to backtrack these deliberate acts of sabotage as well as safer ways to generate electricity for the populace, renewable energy with its zero emission of pollution has been found to solve this problem and many are taking the bold step to protect our world by doing away with other sources of power which are harmful to the environment    The renewable energy industry in Nigeria is growing at an alarming rate, expected to grow at a CAGR of approximately 12.39% during the forecast period of 2019 – 2024. According to modor Intelligence report, Nigeria is the biggest economy in the African continent, with USD 397.27 billion GDP recorded in 2018. However, its power sector is performing below the level of its peer countries.
